DJ Drake Pineda started out as an avid collector of house music since 2001--from downloads to buying physical records, then decided to take it to the next level. Fast forward to 2006 he kicked off his DJ career playing house music for private parties in FAB Bar and Liquid Bar (both in Malate, Manila) where he learned the basics of DJ-ing with live performances. Come 2007, he landed on a semi-regular weekly gigs at the then-famous Government club, playing alongside some of the best circuit DJ's the scene has to offer: DJ Bam Del Valle, Steven Love, Tony Pavia, Don Jocson and DJ Michael Hsu of Taiwan to name a few.
