For DJ DeePee (aka Diane Patrick), there is no event or space that can’t use a good dose of custom-curated music—and she wants to be the one to provide it.

A native New Yorker with a background as an entertainment / legal / business journalist, DeePee has been making mixtapes since the late '70s, from a music library that's a product of the soul, rock, disco, funk, and jazz-fusion rhythms she grew up hearing on NYC radio stations WBLS, WRVR, and WNEW-FM.

In the '80s and' 90s, while she was a music reviewer for JazzTimes and Billboard magazines, her record collection really blew up. It wasn't long before choosing music for the pleasure of others became DeePee’s game, one she's been known and trusted for ever since!
