The Groove Zone (Olympia WA) is a music entertainment volunteer-basis collective of DJs, bands, recording artists and music industry-associated partners, that has produced and presented both public and nightclub events, radio programs, and various performances throughout the South Puget Sound area of Washington (state) since its formation in 1989.
Specific events include the association with Spectrum @ Thekla, circa 1992-96; Northwest Mindscape, 1994 Rochester, WA; The Electric Circus series @ The Evergreen Ballroom, 2000; the RetroQuest series @ The Clipper; The Electric Circus/RetroQuest II @ F.R.O. 2018-20; Neo Retro FM radio project 2020-21.
The Groove Zone network has expanded to include satellite locations in Seattle, Marysville, Aberdeen, and Olympia, WA, Boise, ID, Eerie Indiana, New Jersey, Colorado, as well as Perth and Melbourne, Australia.
