DJ Diaz is a bass music pioneer, roots & culture apologist, and soundsystem activist. He has been an ambassador of the Austrian electronic music scene since 2000.

Running the SUBSISTENCE Soundsystem with King Cone, DJ Diaz proves to be an alpine bass vanguard. As a promoter and host of several club nights in Austria, he showcases his profound music knowledge and widespread network.

His musical journey spans from Roots Reggae and old school ragga jungle to various forms of Dub and Bass Music. DJ Diaz's distinctive style aligns UK-Steppers sounds with Reggaestep and Dub with half-step Jungle vibes.

As an early adopter, DJ Diaz stands for musical progress while honoring roots & culture. His work is dedicated to soundsystem culture and the art of DJing, mixing, and dubbing.
