DJ Derrick-Dee grew up in Jersey City NJ, directly across the river from Manhattan, NYC. I started Deejaying after seeing some of my local Jersey City (Chilltown) DJ pioneers performing live at parties all around Jersey City and also as a member of the Chiba Crew. This was around 1978. I moved to Aviano Italy in 1985 while in the US Air Force and started deejaying in 1986 as the main DJ for the Quarterway Club from 1986-1990. Since 1986 I have deejayed or performed at various clubs throughout Italy's Friuli and Veneto Regions in addition to DJ'ing and performing at clubs in Milano, Bologna, Ischia and Torino. I also deejayed at beach clubs in Bibione, Jesolo, Lignano and Rimini Italy. Between 1985 to currently I've lived in and/or deejayed in Spain, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Italy where I now reside and still work as a DJ when I'm not doing my day job as an IT Systems Administrator.....Peace!
