Crooked was born in Honolulu, HI but raised in NYC since the young age of 2. He had a passion for illustration as well as film and music. After receiving a full scholarship to Calhoun Highschool, he continued to do 2 years at The Art Institute Of Chicago where he earned a merit scholarship. After 2 years in Chicago, Crooked came back to NYC and decided to pursue music. He started DJ'ing at local bars/lounges downtown and by the end of ’02, Crooked was DJ'ing more consistently and started building a name for himself in the city. In ’05, Crooked was offered a residency in Las Vegas and decided to move there in 2006. Since then, Crooked has made a home in LV and launched his own clothing brand KNYEW (acronym for “Keeping NY Every Where” as well as starting a new podcast called “Reflections Of A DJ” (aka R.O.A.D. Podcast) with longtime friend DJ Neva, DJ D-Miles and Jaime Da Great.
