"Corey" Stuart Powell, or Corey Stuart as he's better known, is a NYC based DJ, producer and entertainer who took to the decks 20 years ago to get his style heard by everyone. Influenced by everything from 80's, classic arena rock to mashups and dub step, he has found a way to bring creativity back to electro house and infuse infectious rhythms on the dance floor. His podcast, "Thermal Mixxdown," was an idea born from out of a series of cassette remixes he made in the mid 90's. He revamped it and put a few podcasts on iTunes in the late 2000's. After 3 episodes, he stopped and focused on production and remixing other artists. To date, he's worked with Mamy Rock, Howard Jones, Gemma Aguilar, and has a slew of underground remixes on the forefront. He has enjoyed performances in Mexico and England, and hopes to return abroad in the near future.
