First gig at uni in 1997 after persuading the ents reps that a mate & I knew how to dj (we didn't!). Great experience. Bought a Numark CDN-34 CDJ in 1999, but didn't how to mix for shit. Fast forward to 2002 when I got my 1210s, finally learnt how to mix & decided I wanted to become a DJ. Pursued that dream for six years, eventually getting to play in some of the same dj booths as my heroes, but never made enough money to support myself with it. Don't regret it for one second though. I was vinyl only until 2013 when, whilst teaching in China, I got an MP3 controller. Last time I played out was my China leaving party in 2015. But once a DJ, always a DJ and I'm getting back into the groove now.
Decided to upload all of my old mixes from the beginning when they were quite frankly terrible, until they eventually got half decent. Will be creating new ones as well. Hope you get some enjoyment out of them - they were all a pleasure to make! :-)
