Born Steven Gonzalez, New York City, USA. DJ Chip Chop displayed dj/producing talent at an early age. Growing up in a family of DJ’s and musicians, Chip Chop enjoyed a wide variety of music. He enjoyed listening to everything that made him move inside and out. Underground House, Disco, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Rock, Classical and his love for percussion would later helped him become more open to being more experimental with her style and production of music. I have been a consistently full time working DJ with club experience for over20 years. I have played all over NYC and have an uncanny ability to play for just about any crowd. My most recent performances have been at Crobar, Studio, Mars 2112, LOVE, Splash, Aer, Deep, Avalon, Warehouse, The Battle Balls, Quo, Hiro, APT, Pacha, Hammerstein Ballroom, and Virgin Music Mega Store to name a few. I have played in over 20 different states as well as Germany, Iceland, Japan, Canada, Australia, Ibiza, Spain, Finland, China, Russia.
