Deeply influenced by old-school funk and early 90's hip hop, Federico Gerdol AKA DJ Charlie Alfa started playing in front of big public at some DJ Contests in his city mostly spinning vinyls.
At the age of 21 he started to work as DJ and Sound Technician for a famous Cruise Ship Company, satisfing his passion for travel. During this experience of 2 years on the ship he started his collaboration with big events as Jam Cruise and Holy Ship!, in which he shared turntables with high rated artists as Arthur Baker, Justin Martin, Brodinsky.
After the great experience on the sea he moved to Mexico. Here he started to play regularly at Coco Maya Beach Club, sharing turntables with artists and later on he organized events all over the country. In the last few years he also started to play regularly in Bergen, Norway in clubs like Kono16, Det Akademiske Kvarter, USF Verftet, Fantoft Klub, Pappa, LaTaqueria and Cafe Sanaa.
