Rooted in punk rock, I began djing on the air in Little Rock, Arkansas on KABF FM. Hosting a collaborative radio show on Friday nights, Adios Amerika. The love of radio, music and djing led me through pirate radio stations in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, Colombia and Seattle. Through this evolution and exposure to an ever broadening range of sounds Camelo was born.

My sound draws on pop sense and anti-conformist structures which I hope to harmonize into an emotional response that peaks between passion, melancholy, soul, and joy. The musical cocktail to get there ranges between breaks, indie nu disco, deep house, soul, funk and minimal techno and is ever evolving.
