Born on 13th February 1973, Kuldip Kerkar, fondly known as DJ BOBBY now, was always fond of music and meeting people. Coming from a family of musicians and artists, it was easy to accept DJ-ing as a permanent career.

Got his 1st break as a DJ in a Discotheque called Go Bananas at Kamat's Plaza Hotel in 1989. Has been a DJ ever since.

Was the 1st in India, to start a Retro night in a Nightclub, in Avalon on Wednesdays, and Bollywood night on Saturdays, back when no1 thought of it.

Capable of doing any kinds of music sets since then, he got a chance to go International with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where windows opened for new styles of Hip Hop.
