Blake Reid is currently one of Hawkes Bay's most requested DJs and also an upcoming talent throughout New Zealand. Having been on the scene for over 11 years now, Blake has developed a reputation for rocking dance floors with the latest in club tunes.

Having opened for Karn Hall, P-Money, The Upbeats, Tiki Taane, Dick Johnson, Mt. Eden Dubstep, Shaggy, Dei Hamo, Kidz in Space & Optimus Gryme, also playing in a number of bars in the Hawke's Bay and around New Zealand has seen Blake form a following, thriving off tight mixes, scratching and live remixing.

Aside from working club dance floors into a frenzy of dancing bodies, Blake Reid has collaborated with another local talent, DJ Hurricane, and formed the Vinyl Junkiez. This duo brings a new element and style into club DJing. This is done by both DJs mixing and scratching simultaneously, through the use of two sets of equipment. It also provides and unique experience for the listeners as both DJs work off each other.
