DJ Black Orchid first started DJing at age 15, playing random electronic and euro-pop songs over a stream via winamp. This love for music only grew stronger through the years. He learned to play guitar and developed a love for all types of music. At age 26 he purchased his first midi controller and taught himself how to mix music. Shortly thereafter, he adopted the moniker of DJ Black Orchid, and sought to expand his skills. Currently he mixes Trance, Electro House, and Drum and Bass, and has recently started a weekly two hour trance broadcast called A State of Being.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, one of the major music cities in the USA, he now lives in Dallas, Texas, and is looking for opportunity to do what he loves for a living.
