Early in July of 2002, Beshoy decided to approach a good friend who was a DJ that had helped him with earlier projects for him old singing group. Disheartened that he wasn't singing anymore, he wanted to find something else to feed him desire to be a great musician. One time while hanging out together, Beshoy asked him if he could teach him how to DJ. His initial reaction was "don't waste my time". The subject was left alone for a bit after that, but a month later, he asked again. This time he consented, and she got to touch turntables for the first time. Being a hip-hop DJ, the first thing he decided to teach him was how to scratch. Three to four hours later, Beshoy had learned a couple of basic scratches that sometimes took months for others to learn. Surprised by how quickly he picked things up, he put him under his tutelage, teaching him how to scratch and beat juggle, and later, how to mix. In January 2003, Beshoy, now known as "DJ Besho0o" landed him first official Page as a DJ.
