I have been DJing for over 30 years. I have been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best DJs, i.e. Frankie Knuckles, Junior Vasques, Lil Louis Vega....
Djing has taught me so much about music and its connection with the audience. We as DJs have a huge responsibility to select songs and mix it in such a way that our audience is not only mesmerized, but also taken to place where they are lost in the music.
Too many DJs just play music, very few control the crowd with tempo and song selection and mixing.
It is this I strive to accomplish every time I DJ. It is this that separates me from the majority. I have DJed all over the world and played all genres of music from all decades of time. This accomplishment has been made with no advertising nor social media promotion.
I believe if you are truly good at something, people will find out and seek you out.
