Ban Dot is a digital DJ and a life long student of the audio and visual arts. His interest in electronic music began in the early 90's after discovering artists such as Juno Reactor, The Prodigy, The Crystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Junkie XL, and 4hero.

At age 15, he began autodidactic studying of music production and composition. In the late 90's at age 16, Trance music became his new found love after experiencing the works of Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and BT. After earning a BAS in Sound Arts at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts in 2011, he took his first interest in the art of spinning when inspired by two local Bay Area DJs and now close friends: DJ Forest Green, and DJ Onesource (Osheen Arzumanian).

In 2013, Ban Dot returned to his roots and reunited with House and Techno music, and primarily mixes with Tech House and Techno these days.
