DJ Armstead has moved crowds at high-profile events such as Nike Summer Series, Nelly’s AMA Party Beverly Hills, and Brazil’s Hip Hop Festival. His wide musical range allows him to spin sets including Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, Pop, Disco, House, 80’s, Reggae, and Rare Grooves, with ease that keep the people dancing and coming back for more.
In addition to being an in-demand DJ, Armstead is also a producer. Being involved in music production since 1996 he has shown his production skills working with Akinyele, Digable Planets, and Dynasty. He has released several records with Dynasty through Fat Beats Records and in the Summer of 2000 they toured Europe with other known Hip Hop acts.
DJ Armstead has rocked hot spots in Rio de Janeiro, Acapulco, L.A., Las Vegas, and Miami. Holding residency at some of New York’s hottest venues, Lotus, Halo, and Bungalo 8. He has established himself as the ‘go to DJ’ to move a crowd in elite DJ circles.
