Andy Kemoni Hamilton, AKA DJ A-One was born on March 1st at Mt. Sinai Hospital. From the day he was born he was surrounded by people who loved music. His father was a DJ and a producer, so it was only natural that this young kid would later develop his own love and passion for music.
As a kid he used to watch his father teach his Uncle how to DJ and that’s when he realized that he wanted to learn the art of DJing. At a young age his father was arrested and sent to a federal prison. His love for DJing and his eagerness to learn didn’t die because his father was no longer around. Most kids strive to be like their parents and DJ A-one wanted to better than his father was. His desire to gain knowledge on how to spin and one day be one of the best DJ’s of his time made him want to practice every chance that he could. He not only wanted to be the best at what he did, he wanted to make his father proud.
