DJ Al'Goodie is a name that has become synonymous within the Urban and Reggae scene in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.

To understand DJ Al'Goodie you must first understand the man behind the reputation. A child of the 80’s, he was spoon fed a diet of Motown, Soul and Reggae as well as Hiphop, RnB and U.K. pop, which enabled his appetite becoming an aficionado of all genres of music.

While a student of the ‘Old School’, Al'Goodie is not ignorant to change and has adapted along with the music hence his ability to stay current in this fickle industry.

Al’Goodie has more recently become known as an advocate for Reggae but more specifically “Aotearoa and Island Reggae”. His Dj set’s are fused with his interpretation of Reggae with an aim to continue the growth in popularity of the genre but also to showcase Maori and Pacific artist’s from Aotearoa the Pacific and the U.S.

His reputation as a “Reggae Selector” has seen him chosen to perform with international acts such as “Fiji”
