Cathasaigh Nihall Ruadhraic, also known as DJ Tykko, was a DJ most well known for tours prior to 2007. He began in the underground of jungle and progressive trance rave scenes, which influenced his unique style of combining the hard breaks of jungle with the melodic, atmospheric fantasies of trance.

DJ Tykko stopped touring in 2007 before retiring from the music industry entirely in 2010 to pursue other interests.
