This is a really great set that I actually did on the fly last Sunday after getting into a back and forth with someone who questioned my credibility, and when I directed him to this site, his response was the last thing I did was 2017...
So this started out as maybe one of the pettiest things I can ever recall doing. I just grabbed a never used 2017 Beatport top 100 folder, and one of my wedding playlists that I knew had remixes of pop/top 40 stuff to mix together, mockingly. I was just going to go through some tracks to put something together next week, but it is just so easy to mix with a controller that it just all came together on the fly. Armed with some adult beverages, what started out as petty turned out pretty beautiful. Totally different style for me too. So thanks Stan, thanks. Really I mean that.
Now, some may not like that I mixed some iconic tracks into stuff like "HABITS" or "Shooting Stars" and that's okay. You gotta admit those mixes are held for a while though!

If you hate "Waves" just go to the 9 minute mark. It is totally different from there on.
I probably should've faded out the end there before posting. Its a little excessive...
I write way too much for Mixcloud apparently. I think this could be polarizing amongst people I know. Some may love it, some may hate it. When I mentioned some of the mixes to the guy who taught me ho to dj, he responded "Oh I want punch you in the throat, but my kid will probably love it. "
It is that kind of mix. It has some pop remixes that are doubled up onto one of the longer progressive tracks, and one that as I spun it, and it went so well I cackled like a super-villain! Look out for "Fake Kicks and Bullshit" into "Shooting Star" by Bag Raiders! Not a remix, that is the original!
So, again, some may not like this very much, but others may love it. Feel free to tell me what you think.
