RuDj’s passion for electronic music began in the mid-90s at age 14, at Club Tropicana in Mereto di Capitolo (Udine, Italy), where Sunday afternoons in the “small room” revealed an amazing sonic world, guided by DJs like Luca Miotto and Angelo Bellina.
Influenced by the hypnotic Italian Lento Violento style, he fell in love with tracks like Catodic Tube by Daniele Gas Maffei and Marco Dionigi’s sound. Driven by passion and a love for technology, RuDj made his first tracks on an old 486 PC, later buying Technics 1200s and collecting vinyl at Funkytown in Udine.
Today, his project fuses 90s techno roots with modern experimentation, blending Dance, Techno, Trance, and Melodic Techno with Downtempo atmospheres. His sound is defined by ethnic instruments—accordion, bagpipes, handpan, violin, and flutes—creating a unique mix of nostalgia and futurism.
