I started djing in 1970, I was 12. Did school dances and at 15 I badgered the owner of the local radio station till he gave me a shift (Sunday morning on the AM transmitter). I did weddings and clubs in college. after school I got a job as a sales manager at an FM station. Hated it. went back to my first love. Retired from djing when I was missing my kids activities. a few years ago I bought an iBook Pro and a Traktor S-2 controller just to see if I’d like it. A lot different than a pair of 1200’s. Now I basically do what I want to do. Just the gigs I’ll enjoy.
