All my life, I’ve been drawn to music. Everyone remembers the days of listening to the radio with trigger-fingers on the (record) cassette decks. I used to create mixtapes, programming the 5 or 10 disc changer down to the seconds. When a new album dropped, we would listen front to back and point out the instruments heard in each track. Growing up, I believed my mother gave me a unique name. I decided long ago, to hold onto it, and not channel a creative acronym. Your energy and creation comes from your roots.

I have a deeply rooted passion, for music! Until recent years, I never thought I’d be a Dj. I have always respected the technical, creative and inspiring skills of DJs I grew up listening to and have been recently introduced. All I ever wanted to do was uplift someone’s spirit, help encourage people to smile, find joy, nod their head, reminisce, greatly appreciate and have fun through music.
