DJ iDJa is sound artist, music producer and DJ from Sápmi. Guided by a mission to modernize Sámi music, he deftly blends his cultural background with technology, crafting sonic experiences that stretches from house, disco and techno to ambient and soundscapes. DJ iDJa is a passionate advocate for the preservation of indigenous culture and the urgent need for environmental stewardship, something that also comes to expression in his sonic adventures. He has released a number of singles, and is currently working on a new album scheduled for release in 2024.
