DJ Sitchee is Nicholas Basansky and has cultivated his craft of mixing on the inspirational West Coast of Victoria, British Columbia.

With roots in percussion and dance, Sitchee's skill in identifying very danceable mid-tempo tracks that consistently make people have fun is gaining an appreciated momentum amongst the 25-35 year old demographic. He ensures variety in styles to keep the energy fresh while maintaining a meticulous check on the evening's flow and the preferences of his fellow dancers.

By maintaining driving kicks, deep basslines that pucker your face (in a good way!) with a hint of tasteful vocals DJ Sitchee has opened the main stage of festivals such as Bushwacked Music & Arts Festival in the Okanagan, and Speakers 'N' Trees on Vancouver Island.

He will be kind to you and your friends and does not look mean while he DJs. He appreciates that people want to have fun and shake their ass off and he is only tickled pink to make that happen.
