Born in Birmingham UK, DJ Tony K was brought up with music. As a teenager he fell in love with the art of breakdancing and so became a fan of the hip hop music scene. In his later teens his attention turned to the rave scene, becoming an avid lover of Drum & Bass & Acid music. This is where his love for the turn tables began. Taught to mix by a friend/Drum & Bass DJ in 1992 Tony sold all of his possessions of value to buy his first set of turntables the Gemini PT2000's and a Gemini mixer. In the mid 90's UK Garage music hit the dance scene by storm and this is where the artist got his first taste of club Djing. The DJ says that playing in front of a live audience was the most nerve-racking but rewarding experience he has ever had. The artist stopped DJing when Garage music faded in popularity. Tony K is now back playing but is also producing his own music.
