Peter Dingemanse was already interested in (electronic) music and DJing at a very young age, listening to various radio programmes and mixes by Ben Liebrand. But it was not until the age of 19 that he started playing himself, mostly at events and in local bars and clubs in the South West of the Netherlands, where he was born and raised.

He then decided to move to Amsterdam and discovered the world of dance parties and summer festivals. After being off the DJ-map for a couple of years, he returned to the music scene in 2012 under his current pseudonym DiSign, playing mainly deephouse with a touch of techhouse.
