As soon as Roberta (Discobobulator) was old enough to walk, she used to take herself to bed with a Fisher Price cassette player every night and sing herself to sleep. She’s still singing to this day. She also writes songs, performs them on stage, and DJs when she gets bored of that. Originally from Scotland, she has since made Bristol her forever home.

Co-founder of The Banana Sessions and head honcho of Grrrl Crush - championing women, non binary and LGBTQ+ people in music and beyond - she’s blazed the festival trail across the UK and Europe, from the Edinburgh Fringe to Glastonbury; DJed for Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon & Baga Chipz (Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK); and has done a bunch of online raves since the beginning of the pandemic, including a collaboration with KT Tunstall.
