DJ Dirtyverbs aka Logan Phillips. DJ / poet / performer. Tucson, Arizona. El Tambó / Sonido Tambó.

Born and raised in Cochise County (Arizona-Sonora borderlands) to a family of Irish-Slavic descent, lover of radio fronterizo from childhood. Dirtyverbs got his start playing backyard parties and mezcal speakeasies in Cuernavaca, Mexico in 2007, after falling in love with cumbia sonidera in Querétaro in 2003. He has been a resident DJ at Tucson’s historic Hotel Congress since 2012 and founded El Tambó "música tropical in the borderlands" in 2013. Now a member of the crew behind the party, Sonido Tambó.

After a full calendar evaporated in 2020, Logan began transmitting from his studio, calling the sessions Sunday Morning Jams. Currently a parent, a writer, an urban farmer, a teacher and a music lover.
