As a Raleigh,NC native Stephyy has been djing since 2011 after gaining an interest through some mutual friends who djed a house/techno monthly (Sub-Culture) in Fayetteville, NC. In addition to djing Stephyy learned how to build custom sound designs (loud horn speakers,) which would compliment her style of sounds emanating from the speakers: ranging anywhere from uk based deep dubstep, a range of techno, deep house,house, tech house, ambiet,lo-fi beats,hip hop drum and bass, garage, reggae, militant dub, reggae dub, roots reggae and music for all the skankers'. Stephyy is also known for curating a wide range of events in Raleigh,, Durham, and Chapel Hill as well as other cities on the east coast including big cities like Richmond and Boston. She also hosted a bi weekly radio show online for the late rood.Fm she also wrote blogs for the infamous undergroud UK based FKOF bass music blog/community.
