Dimitris Tirikos is borned and raised in Rhodes (Greece), where he also gained the circular education. He studied classical literature at universities in Greece and abroad. He has taught in private and public education, where he continues his work. He mainly deals with translations and annotations of Ancient Greek and Latin. He is particularly interested in the Medieval Latin. He has published research papers in scientific journals and newspapers on behalf of the Consumer Institute and is a researcher and member of the Dodecanese Museum of Arts and Letters. His research center is Medieval Europe and the Southern Sporades, today Dodecanese, from 1500 to 1600 AD. He has translated and published texts from Medieval Greek to contemporary, fairy tales of Lower Italy in Modern Greek. He has recently published the historical novel Martinengo, The Spirit of the Goat, which is now under translation into both Italian and English language.
