Dimas Dhyara was born in Bali, and during his teens resided to Yogyakarta, Indonesia for his studies. Embracing and loving music since young, Dimas took part in many side-stream music movements around Yogyakarta circa 2011-2014, including managing community art projects and gigs such as Common People and Indiepop Rising Club Jogja. In 2011, he participated in Outerbeat, a weekly indie/alt music show on the waves of Eltira Radio.
During 2011-2014, he established seminal gigs titled Japanese Whispers as a medium for indie Japanese bands touring Yogyakarta, and DIY gigs titled Totalfeedback, showcasing the might of indierock, postpunk, 90s, shoegaze artists and bands.
Currently living in Bali, he frequents SPIN SUGAR as Dimas D, playing mesmerising eclectic sets every time behind the decks.
