Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago. Learning how to Dj for me, happened by accident. (more about that later) Once I became comfortable on turntables, (pre-laptop, pre-software) I started hitting the clubs wherever there was House Music. My long-time friend, who also was an up and coming neighborhood Dj, would save our money and every weekend would jump on the train, head downtown and hit up every record store there was. We threw some of the most epic house parties on the West Side. All the while, any given Saturday night, you could find me at the Warehouse nightclub, The Musi Box or The Bismark, trolling all of the top House Music Dj's. My inspiration at the time came from people like Ron Hardy, Pharris Thomas and my late good friend, Frankie Knuckles.
