Destillat is a German Berlin-based DJ/producer collective consisting of Alja Knez, Mak Podlesnik, Janos Tekavcic, Adrian Barria and Admir Talic. Nothing is more important to this group's identity than the music that throbs within their crowded events. Destillat has developed a distinct and recognizable aesthetic through the output of their events, and the stylistic proclivities of its resident DJs. In broad strokes, the term "Destillat" refers to strains of austere, stripped-down techno with rigid kick drums and a sense of deep, trippy introspection that often taps into dark or creepy moods.
