Born Belfast, went to Park Parade Intermediate School, worked after School in Billy Chivers Bicycle Shop Willowfied St. Left School at 14 1/2 worked as Message Boy Home and Colonial Stores Woodstock Road and as a Shop Assistant in Carsons Pork Stork Beersbridge Rd. Then went on to serve an Apprenticeship as a Fitter/Draftsman in J & T M Greeves Mill Falls Rd. The Mill went into recession got a Job Gambles Steel Knockmore Lisburn. Married my teenage sweetheart and migrated to Australia with my Wife and two children in 1964. Settled in Brisbane. Stats: Will be God willing Married 58 years March 4th 2017. This year we clock up 53 years in Australia. We have 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren (one of whom is in heaven). That's all for the noo.
