My name is Dereece Benjamin, music name "Mr.Benjamin". Born on the East side of London. I am a English Rapper and started rapping at the age of 14 when a group of friends were in a circle with a instrumental playing aloud which I found very entertaining, infuential and exciting. I started with "Poetry" in primary school the moved on to "Grime" where I used a more quick flow because I felt I was most comfertable with it and it suited me as a person. My grime music name was "Mr.Slick" because I Sang,Rapped and Beatboxed which many people couldn't really do at the time. I now Rap, Sing and still Beatbox and I moved to rap after being inspired by rappers such as 'Notorious BIG', 'Nas', 'Eminem', 'Jay-Z' and also 'Kanye West'. I eventually broadend my styles of music and got into Neo-Soul, Jazz, Techno, Funky etc.
