Well, I'm Derek Matthews, I'm originally from Ardrossan but I now live in Irvine with my wife Sharon and our baby son Kai, and our dog Deefer. I went to St Mary's Primary in Saltoats, then St Andrews Academy next door. Had spells at Kilmarnock College Bank Street Annexe, Irvine and James Watt College, Greenock in the 90's. Working on and off as a DJ and quizmaster for the last 18 years, although it's really become serious in the last few years. I'm getting on, I'm 38 now but I've been around the block a few times and had fun along the way. If I could go back to being 20 again, I wouldn't bother!
