listen to that - can you hear it? the rush of neurochemicals, the thunder of action potentials, the noise of your brain’s machinations? somewhere in that fervor, your consciousness is born. in all your wildest dreams, could you ever imagine yourself here, with these memories, thoughts and feelings? can you even remember how you got here in the detail in which it occurred? would you even want to? life would become nothing but dull theatrics if we knew exactly how and why we got to be who we are, the unique confluence of circumstance and genetics that led to this moment, just you and me. why waste it?
