Dennis the Menace has been riding the underground groove since his very first party in NY, 1995. In 1999, Dennis moved to San Diego and quickly fell under the spell of house music. After buying used turntables, he taught himself to mix by spinning at house parties, beach gatherings, hotels, after-hours, and local nightclubs. Always chasing that perfect blend of funky and deep, he built crates that would shape his signature sound. Festival sets at Pure Vision and Slinky in the California Sierras remain among his most cherished memories—those open-air, under-the-stars moments where the music hits differently. In 2016, Dennis returned to Connecticut to launch Strigo Coffee, but the pull of the dance floor never faded. In August 2025, he co-created Love Is the Groove in funky South Norwalk alongside Geoff Marcus, Shrey, and Jubilee
