Deniz Kaya Gunes, also known as Turky is Croatian/Turkish DJ and producer born on 18th November 1991 in Istanbul. Since a young age he had interest in electronic music, although he was surrounded by various types and genres of music in the streets of Istanbul. At the age of 18 he enrolled 7th generation of DJ Academy in Zagreb,Croatia. Since he was among the top students of the Academy, he got the opportunity to be the resident DJ of Bavaria Summer Tour 2010. He has appeared in some of the biggest clubs in the Croatian Adriatic. After closing the summer tour in Zagreb he begins to be more active in music production and event organisations. He started his own programme in Velika Gorica called “We bring the noise” with which he appeared and performed in many clubs in Croatia and Turkey. With his colleague, DJ Marineo, resident from Bavaria Summer Tour, he published his first single called “Alone”.Turky will continue to work hard on new releases. Be sure to keep this guy on the radar!
