Born in 1986, Dekode is the stage name of Serbian electronic music artist Darko Kolar.
Electronic activist since teenagehood, before 2005, he was only a collector of techno, electro, breakbeat and idm records. Music means everything to him and it's the driving force of his body & mind.
During his earlier years, he listened to industrial music which has influenced on his distorted and dark sound.
His influences are also futuristic films, the idea of the end of the human race, dark and futuristic images in his head, apocalypse, machines...
2010 he founded Syndetic recordings with Boris Noiz,Molez and Drum R.
Syndetic Recordings is a bass music label based in Subotica, Serbia with an aim to promote unique, diverse and futuristic sound of all shapes and forms.
Darko's projects are: Dekode, Ontal (w / Boris Noiz) and Routam (4x4 project).
