I was born and live in Brazil. I have been collecting Italo disco records since the 90`s and I`m always looking for high-quality and surprising records.

I live in the southern region of Brazil, a region colonized by Italians, Dutch and Germans. This colonization generated a strong European influence, which defined our preferences and musical style.

For all these years, I have only mixed vinyl records, which has increased my dedication to Italo disco. I am always looking for rare, not so well-known records, which has increased my network of friends in Europe and Mexico.

I have proudly performed on Fantasy Radio since March 2011, every Tuesday and Saturday.

The 1-hour program “DJ Sandro presents The Sound Of Vinyl” is recorded in a single take, with the mixes made on vinyl records that rarely undergo any editing to convey the “mixing moment” as it really is.
