DJ Remedy has been behind the decks since 1998, developing a sound rooted in progressive house and moving freely between house and techno.
Deep, melodic and distinctly funky, his sets are about tension and progression rather than chasing one peak after another. Inspired by the long-form storytelling of Hernán Cattáneo, John Digweed and Sasha, Remedy combines that heritage with a contemporary sound.
Like an architect, he reads the context before drawing the lines. There is always a sketch, never a fixed design.
Selection. Patience. Tension. Release.
The rest is up to the audience.
