Martin Rajšter a.k.a. DJ Reister was born in 1988 in Postojna, Slovenia. He began deejaying in 2005. Quickly he mastered his scratching skills and began producing music.
The main genre theme of his sets are NUFUNK, FUNK and rhythmically faster HIPHOP. As a DJ he also collaborates with MC-s and breakdancers. After a short period of time, people heard about his funky sets, so he stared spinning all over Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia. Soon he stared working on formal and informal releases and he performed live on radio and TV – shows.
He produces brakes, beats an remixes mostly with MPC. NUFUNK and BREAKS he creates are based on fast nostalgic boombab rhythms sprinkled with dusty samples from old Yugoslavian records.
He prepares music for an alternative Slovenian radio station; Radio Student, where he also works as a tone technician.
