I grew up in Rochester, NY and became interested in dance music from listening to a radio station called 104 WDKX. Breakdancing was my thing and I started to record and try to create my own mixes with a double cassette tape/record player. I stole my sisters Queen and Blondie 45's and sat around eating cereal listening to my parents rock music on vinyl. I eventually was introduced to the Toronto acid house and breaks scene which got me into promoting and collecting vinyl. In 1996 I moved to Denver and continued my journey of introducing a different style of "funky acid breaks" and the rest is history.
