For years and years Deckmantel used the standard pioneer club setup and in his opinion this was the way people should! All those modern things like syncing, beatgridding and all the other stuff we now can use as Dj’s was not really his thing. But then after years and years of using this standard setup he felt blocked in his creativity . He wanted to explore another way of mixing so he bought out of the blue a traktor S8 and started to explore all the modern possibilities.

This gave him back the feeling he missed for years, namely chalenge. With this new system he is now taking his Dj skills to another level. No longer the “A to B and back” mixes with some effects everybody is using. Right now it is: mixing, mashing, performing and remixing all at the same time. Deckmantel embraced all the new possibilities to blend it all down into raw pounding performances.
