Since his days in high school, Kole Grain aka Decca had found an interest in music which lead him pursue many areas such as songwriting, singing, and rapping. During his college years, deccA soon discovered the sound of house and electronica. Daft Punk became his heroes and inspiration. In 2010 the name deadmau5 came across and his mau5 head definitely caught my attention. It reminded me of Daft Punk so i decided to check him out and after listening to "Ghosts N Stuff" I enjoyed his work since. Seeing them having fun with what they do and the energy the atmosphere provided, I felt like bringing that feeling around this city and the people I care about." Motivated, he started by mixing songs (mainly in the house genre) and DJing parties, most notably the event "City Nights and Strobe Lights" that took place New Years 2010. Ever since, he's adopted the name deccA, the signature mask, and a goal to create the very music that has given him such joy and spread that joy towards others.
