Dean Brame

I started my Djing career in the early 80's as roadie, after gaining confidence I progressed to hosting events in and around the southwest. cira 1988 I started working in nightclubs which I did so for about 30yrs. In 1997 I was asked if I'd like to host a Friday night show on our local radio station, I didn't think I would, but I quite enjoyed it. For the last 15yrs I've been presenting the Funky Weekend Saturday nights on Radioexe, and as it's a totally independent, one of the very last few, I'm not governed by a playlist put together by somebody who has no music knowledge, it's all down to me, which is a very unique thing in radio today.
I have a great love of Funk, Jazz Funk, Soul, Disco & Motown, I've been collecting vinyl records since 1974 so my record collection is pretty big, well over 30k and still continues to grow monthly (I just can't stop) oh! I love punk too.
